I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics at The University of Southampton. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at SoDa Labs and the Department of Economics at Monash University, Australia, where I also earned my PhD in 2022.
My research primarily focuses on issue in political economy, environmental and resource economics, and conflict. I also explore topics in long-run development and digital economics.
Much of my work involves building new datasets from text and geospatial sources, using methods from natural language processing, machine learning, and geocomputation.
