Min-Hao Zhang is a Research Fellow in TAILWIND PROJECT in the Department of Civil, Maritime and Environmental Engineering at the University of Southampton. He is part of the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) Chair Centre of Excellence for Intelligent & Resilient Ocean Engineering (IROE), where his research mainly focuses on offshore geotechnics via numerical and macroelement modelling.
Min-Hao earned his Bachelor degree in Southeast University, China, Master degree in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and PhD degree in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University focusing on ‘Modelling of offshore foundations: from finite element analysis to macroelement’.
