SoCRATES aims to bring together PhD students and researchers interested learning about and using novel cell culture methodologies. SoCRATES was established as part of the Advanced cell culture programme for the NiHR's Biomedical Research Centre's respiritory theme.

About

SoCRATES was set up as the first action of the Advanced cell culture programme under the NiHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) respiratory theme. We aim to bring together diverse workflows using novel cell culture methodologies.

We have developed and characterised flexible 3D cell culture platforms, allowing us to:

- investigate a wide range of respiratory and infectious conditions.

- identify new treatments

- create innovative trial designs
