Simulating realistic neutron-star mergers

Project overview

This project will provide a new generation of nonlinear neutron-star merger simulations, combining our recently developed framework for hot, non-ideal magnetized and relativistic plasmas with new numerical techniques designed for efficient, practical simulations of resistive and dissipative fluids.
