Project overview
This is a collaborative project by SWWDTP-funded students to develop a collection of short stories that creatively re-imagine orally transmitted narratives: family stories, intergenerational memories, folktales, war and survival narratives and everyday anecdotes passed down by caregivers and communities. Rather than merely recording oral stories, this collection explores how such stories shift across time, language, media and place, and how contemporary writers express this transition, shaping identities and belonging.
