Royal prize for rail research
King and Queen present royal prize to Southampton rail researchers at Windsor Castle.

Our pioneering rail research has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Higher and Further Education, celebrating two decades of work that has strengthened the UK rail network and saved billions in public money.

We are a research-intensive university and a founding member of the Russell Group.

I was trained by some amazing people who gave me real-life experience and the competency to work as an audiologist. The University does a great job preparing you for the real world and the placement gives you the practical experience.
