Diamond Jubilee Fellowship

Professor Anna Mauranen and Professor Jennifer Jenkins meet with the Vice Chancellor of the University of Southampton, Professor Don Nutbeam, to talk about the Southampton-Helsinki project.

Anna Mauranen, Vice Rector and Professor of English at Helsinki University spent a week in the Centre from October 13-17th, 2014. The main purpose of her visit was to take part in meetings concerning the Diamond Jubilee Fellowship project, 'Linguistic diversity on the international university campus', funded by the Universities of Southampton and Helsinki, and which also includes partners in five other countries. As well as this, Anna gave two presentations, one on EMI to CGE members and one on ELF in the ILC Research Centres seminar series. You can see this lecture by clicking on the link below.
