Mathematics B
Engineers use calculus used to describe change, motion, and system behaviour. This module introduces fundamental mathematical ideas you will rely on throughout your degree. You will explore limits, derivatives, and integrals, learning how they connect mathematical functions to real engineering systems. As you practise applying these concepts, you will start to see how calculus supports modelling, design, and analysis. With a solid grounding in these concepts, you can begin to apply them to engineering problem solving, strengthening your understanding and progress in later modules. -
