These MSc programmes are being taught by the faculty of Physical Sciences and Engineering, which conducts world-class research within the University of Southampton.

All the programmes teach introductory modules giving a broad overview of the ‘live’ issues surrounding energy, the sustainability agenda and climate change, of which all energy professionals should have a broad understanding.

The modules provide the necessary specialized knowledge and analytical skills for professionals in these fields.

Gain valuable research and development skills through the research project. The project may be carried out within the University of Southampton, or alternatively may provide the opportunity to work with industrial partners of this programme—ranging from large utility companies to small consultancies.

Accreditations by the relevant leading professional institutions has been achieved for the programmes: Energy Resources and Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Buildings and Sustainable Energy Technologies.
