Campus open days: what to expect

Undergraduate campus open days are your chance to explore the University. Here you’ll find information about our in-person events this autumn.

Campus open days this autumn

Our next campus open day takes place on:

  • Saturday 9 October: 10am to 4pm

There are lots of activities to help you get a feel for life at Southampton:

Campus and facilities tours

Student ambassadors will guide you around Highfield campus, the academic heart of the University. It’s home to social events, sporting facilities and the students' union.

Tours last up to 30 minutes. Afterwards, take a self-guided tour of Avenue and Boldrewood campuses. These are the homes of our humanities and engineering subjects respectively.

Attend student life talks

Hear from staff and students about life at Southampton. Find out about topics such as accommodation, fees and finance, and studying abroad.

Chat to students

Ask current students about their experiences living and studying with us.

Discuss your course with academic staff

Visit your chosen subject hub and chat informally to staff or students about the course you’re interested in.

Talk to our student services team

Find out how we support you during your studies. Ask our team about subjects including accommodation, finance, wellbeing and studying abroad.

Subject information

Our subject talks are a separate online event this year, from Monday 27 September to Friday 1 October.
