Current research

I am currently addressing the following key technology challenges:

  • Scalability- to interface to more brain neurons;
  • Signal processing- to enhance processing capacity for the next iBMI generations;
  • Sensing- to perform implantable brain sensing utilizing minimally invasive techniques;
  • Energy efficiency- to reduce implementation cost and power requirements;
  • Miniaturization- to miniaturize useful technologies for biomedical applications.
