Maduo is a second year PhD student seeking to quantify the risks posed by treated sewage-derived phosphorus to groundwater-fed English chalk streams. She holds an MSc in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Leicester. Prior to her PhD, Maduo worked as a Graduate and Project Hydrogeologist at Debswana Diamond Company’s Jwaneng Mine in Botswana. Her professional expertise includes groundwater resource development, pit slope depressurisation, hydrochemical monitoring, and project management.
