Biography
With a background in biotechnology, Ahsan has experience in molecular biology, lateral flow assay development, and nanotechnology. His current research aims to integrate photonics technologies with microengineering, microfluidics and diagnostics, to develop low-cost and rapid diagnostics invaluable for his home country. Ahsan is particularly passionate about the translation of lab-based technologies into real-world solutions for use in point-of-care testing.
