BMJ Call to Action
In 2025, we published an editorial in the BMJ, calling for an end to inequalities in access to bereavement care and support for families experiencing the sudden unexpected death of their child. All families should receive skilled, compassionate and sensitive support and an integrated model of care, no matter where they are in the UK, their personal circumstances or the cause of death.
