Southampton Business School Future Leader MBA Scholarship
£12,000 is available to international students from eligible regions studying Master of Business Administration (MBA). 1 scholarship is available for each region, covering South East Asia, The Middle East and North Africa, Central and Latin America, North America and Europe.

Eligibility
To get this scholarship you must:
- have a conditional or unconditional offer to study Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southampton
- be resident in an eligible country
- show promise as a future leader by demonstrating business excellence
- pay the international fee
- not be in receipt of any external scholarship
Eligible regions:
- South East Asia
- The Middle East and North Africa
- Central and Latin America
- North America
- Europe
We determine residency as where you have been living for a 3-year period or longer before the start of the course. This does not include where you are living for study purposes, if it is somewhere different from your place of permanent residency.

- submit a 500-word statement on why you should receive the scholarship
- interview with the scholarship panel
We will contact you in writing on or before 30 June 2025 if you are successful. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after that date.
How we award scholarships
This is a competitive process and not all applicants will be successful.
The scholarship will be awarded based on your application statement, your MBA application and your interview.
You will be assessed using the following criteria:
- a high degree of relevant professional experience in management and/or leadership
- evidence of rapid career progression
- clear ability to contribute to the quality of the MBA cohort
- strong academic ability and performance
The decision of the scholarship panel is final.
