- be an international student required to pay the oversees fees
- have a conditional or unconditional offer to study an eligible Southampton Law School postgraduate taught programme
- exceed your course entry requirements

As part of your application, you will need to provide a supporting statement explaining why you are a strong candidate for this scholarship. Your statement should be 500 words or fewer.
Late applications cannot be accepted.
How we award
There are 5 stages in the shortlisting process.
- We check that you meet the eligibility criteria.
- We score and rank the academic qualifications listed on your postgraduate application form.
- We shortlist candidates to recognise global talent.
- We score and rank the supporting statement included in your application.
- A panel chaired by the Dean of Social Sciences, or their nominated representative, decides who receives the scholarships.
This is a competitive process, and not all applications will be successful.
The scholarship panel's decision is final. We do not provide feedback on applications or decisions.
If your application is successful, you will receive a confirmation email and award letter.
