About the project

High entropy alloy nanoparticles hold tremendous potential for catalysis, energy storage, and biomedical applications.

Partnering with Platina Biomed, this project will use a range of typical inorganic materials synthesis methods to produce these particles at a size scale useful for medical imaging technologies. The project combines synthesis and detailed characterisation by diffraction and microscopy methods, with magnetic characterisation at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
