Degree Outcomes Statement

We are committed to protecting the value and credibility of the qualifications we award.

Our degree outcomes statement is part of our commitment to maintaining confidence in the value of University of Southampton degrees, for our students, graduates and employers. The statement explains how we review and maintain academic standards, and includes an analysis of our degree classification profile and the results of our review of degree outcomes.  

Through this work we also demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements, such as those set by the Office for Students, which focus on maintaining academic standards. We also support the UKSCQA statement of intent which outlines the shared commitment of universities to transparency, fairness and reliability in the way they award degrees.
