Once you’ve chosen a course, the next step is to make an application through UCAS, the central processing body for higher education courses.
Our Undergraduate Applications page has a full explanation of the application process.
We strongly encourage you to come to one of our Open Days to get a feel for the University and its facilities.
Each programme has their own entry requirements. Find out what we require from applicants below.
For queries about any of our courses, or for help in completing forms, contact the School of Education on +44 (0)23 8059 7253 or by email at educate@southampton.ac.uk.
You should apply for these through UCAS as described above, using course code X300 or CS83 respectively.
You can apply online in one of two ways:
The International Foundation Year prepares you for a BSc (Hons) Education Studies, BSc (Hons) Education Studies and Psychology, or related degree at the University of Southampton. It is not a stand-alone qualification. You will be applying in effect for a four-year degree course. You will need to tell us in your application which subject you hope to study at degree level. Please note that this course is not available for students from EU countries aiming for a degree in Education Studies and/or Psychology.
