Ewan Fraser is a Senior Research Assistant in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

His research is focussed on redox flow batteries, specifically the development of the soluble lead flow battery. As part of the RELCoBatt project he is collaborating with international partners from academic institutions and industry to build a low-cost kW scale battery which can use recycled lead acid batteries for its manufacture.

Research for his doctoral thesis has used Multiphysics numerical modelling to study the operation of different configurations of the soluble lead flow battery.
