Event details
Join us for our full day symposium with internal and external speakers, rapid fire research and exhibitor stands.
As you will see in the programme, we have an exciting and diverse line-up including Professor Saheer Gharbia from Public Health England talking on the human microbiome, colleagues from Geography discussing ancient DNA, from National Oceanographic Centre discussing marine invasive species and colleagues discussing applications of clinical NGS sequencing locally.
We also have our annual competition, requiring the 'shortest grant application' (100 words) from early career researchers for the chance to win £2,000 of funding for their NGS projects; the deadline is Wednesday 3rd May. See download below for full rules.
Our competition is kindly supported by the Institute for Life Sciences.
