Hameed is a PhD researcher within the University of Southampton's Centre for Doctoral Training in Sustainable Infrastructure Systems. He is currently conducting his doctoral studies under the University's Transportation Research Group, investigating how connected autonomous vehicles would impact on highway engineering design approacches.
Hameed is a chartered civil engineer, and has worked in industry as a highway/transportation engineer for over 15 years.
