About
Kevin is an Associate Professor in Geomechanics and RAEng/HS2 Ltd Senior Research Fellow (2020-2025).
His ambition is to find the best way to assess, preserve and strengthen our transport, water and energy infrastructure, so that it is resilient to climate change and fit for purpose in the 21st Century.
Kevin was a PI for the UKRI-funded ACHILLES Programme (2018-2024) to examine the weather-driven deterioration of infrastructure earthworks. He held a five-year RAEng Senior Research Fellowship, supported by HS2 Ltd (2020-2025) and a RAEng Industry Fellowship (2017-2018), supported by Network Rail.
