Biography
He has a BA in French and English from the National University of Ireland at Cork, an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Essex, and a PhD in language programme evaluation from the University of Warwick. He has worked in education for 45 years. He has extensive experience as a teacher, teacher-trainer and curriculum developer in English as a second language/ TESOL contexts including France, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Mexico, Tanzania, South Africa, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Oman and Zambia. Since 1990, he has worked at five British universities as a researcher and lecturer.
