Dr. Yun Lu is a postgraduate research student based in Southampton Business School at the University of Southampton.
Yun’s research interests are so far focused on corporate governance and both financial and non-financial performance at multi-levels.
Currently, Yun works with Prof Collins and Dr. Maggie Zhang in corporate governance and board diversity.
Yun has taught both management accounting and financial accounting at UG and PGT level. Currently Yun serves as a supervisor for PGT dissertations.
Yun is a member of Centre for Research in Accounting, Accountability and Governance. Prior to this position, she obtained her MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Southampton. Yun previously worked in financial services as a marketing and administration manager at HUAXIA bank. Prior to that, she had internship and undertook several short-term training assignments in different departments in the field.
Yun has presented her research at top national and international conferences including British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA). Yun also serves as a reviewer for several internationally leading academic journals (e.g. international review of financial analysis).
