Biography
Andrew grew up in Yorkshire and spent a year at music college before discovering philosophy and taking his first degree at Cardiff University. He moved to Merton College, Oxford for his graduate studies (B.Phil. and D.Phil.) and was awarded the doctorate in 2013. Before joining Southampton in 2017, he held a teaching position at Trinity College, Oxford and research positions at Humboldt University, Berlin and Aarhus University, Denmark. He has since held Visiting Research Fellowships at the Human Abilities Centre for Adavance Studies in the Humanities in Berlin and at the Research Centre for Analytic German Idealism in Leipzig.
