About
Oi Man is a PhD student within the Centre for Electronics Frontiers at the Zepler Institute. She received her BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2018, before completing an MSc in Propulsion and Engine Systems Engineering (Advanced Mechanical Engineering Science) from the University of Southampton in 2019.
Her research is supported by the Lloyd's Register Foundation International Consortium of Nanotechnologies (LRF-ICoN) and currently focuses on developing novel gel electrolytes for safe and sustainable aluminium battteries for electrochemical energy storage applications.
Outside of engineering, Oi Man's interests include sports (particularly horse riding), cars, and exploring the great outdoors.
