After graduating from a Master of Research (MFFA - Mécanique des Fluides, Fondements et Applications) at École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers & Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Dorian joined the university of Southampton in 2018 as a candidate for a Doctorate of Philosophy.
His research focuses on creating an efficient CFD tool to assist British Swimming to better understand propulsion mechanisms during the underwater phases in competitive swimming.
