Biography
Graduated from Staffordshire University with First-Class Honours in Biological Science in 2016 and from Newcastle University with an MRes in Toxicology in 2018. In 2017-2018 worked as a Microbiology Technician at Intertek. Succesfully obtained a fully-funded 3-year NIHR-BRC Studentship at the University of Southampton within Human Development and Health in the Immunometabolism lab (Sethi Lab)- supervised by Dr Jaswinder Sethi and Professors Christopher Byrne and Philip Calder. This PhD project looks to explore the role of adipose tissue function in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
