I am a Teaching Fellow at the University of Southampton, Department of Gerontology where I am also part of the Centre for Research on Ageing. I joined the University of Southampton in 2019 as Research Fellow on the project ‘Transnational healthcare and wellbeing among Polish migrants in the UK’ on which I continue to work as Associate Researcher at the ESRC Centre for Population Change.

Previously, I taught within the Social Sciences at The University of Manchester, and the University of St Andrews where I obtained a PhD in Social Anthropology in 2018 with the thesis ‘Building Belize City: Autonomy, Skill and Mobility amongst Belizean and Central American construction workers.’ Before that, I obtained an MA in Anthropological Research from The University of Manchester and a BA in Anthropological Sciences from the University of Bologna.
