My current project is looking to investigate the impact of obesity and associated metabolic complications on skin remodelling and dermal lymphatics
I graduated from the University of Bath (UK) in 2018 with a degree in BSc Biology and from the University of Sheffield (UK) with an MSc in Molecular Medicine (2019). I then successfully got a 4-year funded PhD studentship (funded by UoS IfLS, CNHRS) at the University of Southampton, within the Faculty of Medicine, Human Development and Health, in the Immunometabolism lab, supervised by Dr Jaswinder Sethi and Dr Peter Worsley. My project is looking to investigate the impact of obesity on the lymphatic system with a particular focus on the skin.
