My PhD research focuses on using both active and passive seismic to investigate the velocity structure beneath the seafloor massive sulphide mound (Semenov site on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge). I am looking to find the mechanism forming the massive sulphide mound and estimate the sulphide volume.
Interests: Seismic imaging (seismic reflection and refraction, seismic interferometry), seismic hazard analysis.
