Lakshi has worked almost 10 years as an auditor in audit firms such as KPMG, Grant Thornton and Barclays Bank. As an academic, she has held junior roles (such as Tutor and Lecturer) at Griffith University and the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, to mid-career roles (Senior Lecturer) at Kaplan Business School, Australia.
During her tenure in her previous positions, she has also been involved in the curriculum development of various auditing and financial accounting modules both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has also been involved in teaching Financial Reporting, Auditing, and Strategic Management Accounting with Australian Professional Bodies such as CPA.
Lakshi has attended and presented papers at prestigious conferences such as The European Auditing Research Network (EarNet) Conference, BAFA and the Accounting and Accountability in Emerging Economies (AAEE) conference at University of Essex.
