The techniques and technologies of Artificial Intelligence offer challenges and opportunities for human music-making. Across the disciplines, we study the challenges - and seize the opportunities - as scholars, composers, technologists and performers.
Our group includes creators, engineers, musicologists, education specialists, psychologists, and legal and business scholars. We actively seek collaboration with practitioners and colleagues from industry.
All of us aim to make critical and creative interventions across all areas of music touched by AI, with a strong focus on responsible, human-centred approaches. We particularly welcome early-career colleagues, including PhD students.
