We research modern scientific and technological challenges faced by the world, with a focus on energy efficiency, emerging energy technologies and sustainability.
Ecology and Evolution

Our research focuses on adaptations to changing environments, including the responses of organisms to stress factors brought about by environmental change at physiological, population and community levels.
Sustainability and Resilience Institute (SRI)

We bring together colleagues from across the University, and work with experts from around the world to answer one of the most pressing questions of our time: “How will we choose to manage our planet for ourselves and future generations?”
