Project overview

Within the net-zero transition, buildings need to completely decarbonise comfort by 2050 yet deep retrofit at scale is unlikely. LCCC aims to understand how low-carbon comfort can be delivered at scale at least cost.

We research the science and engineering of complex areas. We focus on areas including human-machine teams and human-in-the-loop interaction.

The research group seeks engineering solutions for reliable, affordable and sustainable energy stemming from renewable resources.
