My research focuses on how older people think about and make decisions about late life.

My research seeks to understand how late-life decisions are made and how experience of weathering previous life course transitions informs future decisions.

I have a BMus from University of Illinois and an MA in Music from University of Connecticut, an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University and an MSc in Gerontology from the University of Southampton.  I have previous work experience in marketing and admissions for international schools in the UK and financial marketing and public relations in the US.
