Three scholarships of £6,000 off tuition fees are available to UK and international students studying an eligible postgraduate masters’ within the Faculty of Medicine in 2026.
Deadline: 31 May 2026 5pm UK time.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a scholarship you must:
- Hold a conditional or unconditional offer from Southampton to study an eligible full-time masters’ programme
- MSc Genomics
- MSc Cancer Biology and Immunology
- MSc Medical Technology Innovation and Design - Meet your offer conditions, including the University’s English language requirements, by the admissions deadline
- Not be in receipt of any external sponsorship covering 100% of the tuition fees
How to apply
- Apply to study one of the full-time eligible programmes with the University of Southampton, Faculty of Medicine.
- Complete the scholarship expression of interest form. Link to follow shortly.
We cannot accept late applications. If your application is successful, you will receive confirmation in an email with an attached letter by 18 June 2026.
All scholarship offers are final.
How we award scholarships
This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful.
There are 3 stages to the shortlisting process.
- We check that you meet the eligibility criteria.
- We score your academic record and qualifications on your programme application form.
- A selection panel will decide on who gets the scholarships. The panel will consider your supporting statement in your scholarship expression of form, alongside your academic achievements to date.
The decision of the scholarship panel is final.
