75th Anniversary China Postgraduate University of Southampton Business School Excellence Scholarship

75th Anniversary Postgraduate Taught Business School Excellence Scholarships are available to new international students from China, Hong Kong SAR or Taiwan starting a full-time, on-campus, 1-year postgraduate taught programme in Southampton Business School.

These scholarships mark 75 years since the University of Southampton was granted its Royal Charter. They celebrate our history and offer a warm welcome to students from China, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan.

To get this scholarship you must:

• be a permanent resident of China, Hong Kong SAR or Taiwan
• be a self-funded student paying the oversees tuition fees
• have a conditional or unconditional offer to study a postgraduate taught Business school master's programme
• pay your tuition fee deposit by Friday 15 January 2027

Scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served basis, based on the date that you submit your programme application to the University of Southampton. 

Permanent residency

We consider your permanent residency to be where you have lived for 3 or more years before the start of the course.

This does not include where you have been living solely for study purposes if it is different from your permanent place of residency.

Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first served basis, based on the date you submit your programme application to the University of Southampton. 

The first 300 postgraduate applicants who meet the eligibility criteria, including payment of their tuition fee deposit by 15 January 2027, will receive the scholarship.  

If you're awarded more than one University of Southampton scholarship, you'll automatically receive the highest-value award.
