Steve is Associate Professor in Marketing at Southampton Business School. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Management, MSc Business Information System and PhD in Information System Management from Royal Holloway, University of London. Previously, Steve held faculty positions at Oxford Brookes University, Middlesex University and Royal Holloway, University of London.

Steve's research interesta are situated within consumer behaviour, luxury marketing, digital marketing and capability related studies. He has published in Journal of World Business, International Marketing Review, Information Technology and People, Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, International Journal of Hospitality Management and others. He also co-chairs tracks in Academy of Marketing Science (US) conferences.
Steve teaches topics which are closely aligned to his research interests, such as Luxury Marketing.
Prior to becoming an academic, Steve worked for companies in the online retail industry as a senior executive for over 8 years, where he gained a wealth of experience in IT and marketing, specialising in web analytics.
