Amar Nath Ghosh is a Research Fellow in the Nonlinear Semiconductor Photonics group within the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) at the University of Southampton.
He received a B. Sc. degree in Physics in 2011 and a B. Tech. degree in Optics and Optoelectronics in 2014 from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata. Later in 2016 he obtained his M. Sc. in Photonics from the University of Eastern Finland. He received his PhD degree in Nonlinear Fiber Optics from Femto-ST Institute/ Université bourgogne franche-comté (ubfc) in France under the supervisoin of Prof. John Dudley in 2020.
In 2021 he joined the ORC under Prof. Anna Peacock to work with 2D materials and Polycrystalline silicon waveguides.
