Centre for Private and Commercial Law (PCL)

About us

The purpose of the centre is to encourage mutual support and the sharing of best practice.

To that end, the group’s meetings are a mixture of open forum discussions and presentations by internal and external speakers.

PCL members are currently engaged in areas of research including:

  • Arbitration
  • Contract Law
  • Corporate Law
  • Corporate Governance
  • Insurance Law
  • International Commercial Litigation
  • Tort
  • Property Law
  • Private International Law

Much of the work undertaken by members of our group intersects with other research centres, with consideration of, for example, Maritime Law.
