Overview
Our research group is multidisciplinary with links across the University.
Our research spans two research centres:
- the Sustainable Energy Research Group
- the Centre for Coastal Processes, Offshore and Coastal Hydrodynamics
It also includes staff from the National Oceanography Centre Southampton.
Our work supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with fundamental and applied research across our six research themes:

- buildings & communities
- behaviour & modelling
- climate & emissions
