Students from all over the world come here to study

Our degree programmes in ageing and gerontology are popular with international students, who appreciate our high-quality and stimulating teaching, professional systems and friendly support.

The University of Southampton is very experienced in welcoming students from around the world and making sure they flourish in their host country. Our lively campus is just outside the city, next to leafy Southampton Common. Both the University as a whole and the Students' Union offer countless sporting and social opportunities to help you make friends quickly.

Choosing Southampton

We are an internationally respected, research-active university. Students from all over the world come here to study, learn more about the UK and make friends for life.

Finding somewhere to live

Our halls of residence offer comfortable and secure accommodation, which is often guaranteed for your whole course.

I chose the Centre for Research on Ageing because of its specificity, which has no equivalent in any French university, combined with the expertise of the Centre's professors.
