Mr Mark Telford is Deputy Head of School (Education) and Principal Teaching Fellow in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice within Southampton Law School at the University of Southampton.
LLB (Hons) (Aberdeen) 1997; MSc (Criminology and Criminal Justice) (Edinburgh) 1998. Research Assistant, University of Aberdeen 1998-1999; Research Assistant, University of Southampton 1999-2001;
Mark is Lecturer in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice. He has an LLB (Honours) degree from the University of Aberdeen and an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice (with distinction) from the University of Edinburgh. Before his appointment to his present position in Southampton he spent some time as a researcher for the Procurator Fiscal in Aberdeen; worked (with Professor Neil Walker) on a project for the Northern Ireland Criminal Justice Review on post-devolution constitutional models of criminal justice; and (with Professor Andrew Rutherford) on a project examining the influences on New Labour's criminal justice policy. He is a member of the University’s Institute of Criminal Justice and a member of the recently established Centre for Law, Ethics and Globalisation.
