Keith works as a Senior Research Fellow for SHTAC.
All models are wrong, but some are useful.
Since joining SHTAC in September 2005, Keith has provided health economics expertise for a number of Technology Assessment Reports for NICE including the clinical and cost-effectiveness of treatments for hepatitis C, psoriasis, cancer (multiple myeloma, lung, lymphoma, breast cancer), and asthma.
He has also contributed to NIHR HTA Programme funded projects including behavioural interventions for the prevention of sexually transmitted infections in young people, long-term weight management schemes for adults, and educational interventions for preventing vascular catheter bloodstream infections in critical care.
Keith was awarded his PhD in 2005 following a four year project in the Department of Management at the University of Southampton developing a health care simulation for coronary heart disease, for the Department of Health.
