She was also an active member of the project groups in the department of Agribusiness Management in successfully completing the projects: Improving the Relevance and the Quality of Undergraduate Education, a world bank funded project (2004-2009); and A baseline survey on youth unemployment in Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka, a project funded by International Labor Organisation (2008-2009).
Krish completed her Doctoral studies in Durham University Business School in 2014. She also holds MBA in Finance from the University of Colombo Sri Lanka and BSc in Agribusiness Management from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka with the medal for the best performance in the department of Agribusiness Management.
Part completion of the professional examinations of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka opened the path for her to change discipline from Science to Accounting and Finance. She believes this to be one of the best decisions.
