Carole is an experienced Senior Administrator in the School of Health Sciences, where she supports the Bladder and Bowel Research Group. She has worked on the MultiCath clinical trial (RCT), Dementia and Continence (DemCon 1 & 2), Continence Assistive Technology Mapping (CAT-Map 1 & 2), as well as several scoping and systematic reviews. She is currently working on the IC-NAT project. Carole provides high quality administrative and research assistance to multidisciplinary teams.

Carole graduated with a BA (Hons) 2:1 degree in International Business and Languages and a PGCE. She completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Health and Social Care Research at the University of Sheffield School of Health and Related Research (SCHARR) in 2012 and has Medical Terminology training.
Carole has been a Public Reviewer for the NIHR since 2012. She has experience of working in Patient Health Records and Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness at IWK Health in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She has been employed at the University of Southampton since 2022. Her background in teaching provides useful transferable skills, such as staff training, presentation skills and proof-reading.
