Dr. Roshni S Babu is a Research Fellow at the Flexible Nanoelectronics in the School of Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) at the University of Southampton, UK. Her research interest are the fabrication and optimisation of novel 2D materials and polyoxometalates for next-generation optoelectronic devices for neuromorphic computing applications. Previously, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Gyeongsang National University, South Korea, where she worked on engineering 2D materials and interfaces to enhance electronic device performance. Dr. Roshni's academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Engineering and Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, completed in 2022. Her doctoral dissertation explored the use of bimetallic structures to improve surface plasmon resonance sensor performance. Prior to her Ph.D., she earned an M.Tech. in Communication Systems from Anna University, India, and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Computer Science from Kerala University, India.
