Wahyu Jatmiko is an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in Banking and Finance at the University of Southampton Business School, UK. He previously held academic roles at Durham University Business School, UK, and the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia.
As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Wahyu teaches in the areas of sustainable finance, climate finance, and Islamic banking and finance. His research focuses on ethical and sustainable banking and finance, with particular interests in Islamic finance, development finance, and financial inclusion.
His work has been published in leading journals, including:

- Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money,
- Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting.
Wahyu also contributes to impact-oriented research for government institutions, industry, and international organisations. Since 2022, he has secured more than USD 200,000 in research funding from organisations including the British Council UK, CIMA, UK Higher Education Innovation Funding, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Bank Indonesia, and the Indonesian Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH).
